Foundation milestones

Five decades of building

  1. 1971–72

    The Foundation is created to raise funds for the Hospital.

  2. 1980s

    The Foundation’s pledged support is pivotal in securing the Sung Pai Pavilion.

  3. 1999

    $2.6 million capital campaign: the Hospital returns to Chinatown on Viger Avenue.

  4. 2026

    The Claude and Stanley D.K. Ma Garden officially opens on September 10.
